North Macedonia’s CPI up 3 pct in July

SKOPJE, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) — North Macedonia’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 3.0 percent year-on-year in July, the State Statistics Office (SSO) of North Macedonia reported on Wednesday.
Restaurant and hotel costs, medical costs, as well as recreation and culture costs contributed the most to the increase in inflation, which can be partially attributed to the summer season.
The monthly increase in CPI in July was 0.7 percent. ■
